RE Audio company are a bunch of morons

let face it RE isn't the RE it used to be. As much as I hate to say that its true, IMO nothing that made the company what it WAS is still there.Look what the parent company did to US amps when they bought. Yeah the new us amps is still some decent product but it doesn't hold a candle to what it was originally. I have to think RE will follow suit and that sucks cause I have ran their gear since 03 (02 maybe?) and have been happy with it.

FTR I sent dave the nudes, but don't expect his reply to this post as it is pointless.

I just bought an SR 12" last month and the quality still seems to be there, and it sounds awesome. When I called 2 months ago they were just getting ready to move and consolidate and said things were going to be even better. I sure hope thats true reading this thread worries me, I am a rue blue RE user and want to stay that way. I have one of the main techs cell# I am going to call him next week and try to get the scoop I will post then.

I wired up one of the SR10D4s' I have for sale to 8 ohm and ran it free air off my HT system (100w rms) it did pretty good considering it was way under powered

The new information I got is kind of what I figured would happen. They are working on a new design for a new basket (I believe for the XXX) or something like it. But they are now working on it. As far as any other subs not being made, Haven't heard anything on that. I just got a shipment of SR's and RE's. I like the look of the new cone for the RE's, but kind of wish they would have stayed with the older design on the SR's, make they stand out alittle different. Also I was told they DO have 15's and 18's in the XXX. Guess they were just lost, and they just found some. Anyway, thats the news.
