jl audio 13w7s? some help

i just bought a 64 bel air and im looking at the jl audio 13w7s i want to buy 2 of them but after looking at the forum i see some mixed reviews about them could anyone give me there 2 cents about them and if its a good idea to buy 2 of them my budgets about $2500 but i deffinatly know i'll be over it

Look at Fi Q for a better deal

something like 2 12" Fi Q is gonna run you 500

AQ 2200 watts rms amp is 389 direct from AQ

HO alt is gonna run $400

$100 -200 on wire

$220 gets you a HC2400 battery and your almost there under $2,000

get some one close to you to make a sick box and your set.

with 2500 do not use JL. I ran a JL 13w7 and it was clean but not worth it. I sold that to a friend and bought a Re hybrid and my sub preformed better on th meter and people said they liked the sound of mine better. The Jl is a great sub but a Fi Q, Re XXX (the 05),AA havoc, or a SI magnum would be a better set up.

Sound good or just fukin loud? do you want it to hit so hard you think your being punched or ruble so you think your in an earthquake? Most people say they want loud and SQ but in the real world its usualy one or the other.

Mix of loudness and sound quality that you want. Are you more concerned it sounds good, or just gets freakin obnoxiously loud? Or do you want some ratio of the two? How much space do you have to work with on the enclosure (use a tape measure)? Are you planning electrical upgrades to the car? What exactly does your budget cover?
