best box for pioneer sub

i am on the fence wethre to seal or port these 307d4 subs. i have 8 of the going in a truck with a viper2500. i have the room to go optimum either way 1.65 cuft ported with 3" port, or 1.25cuft sealed. i called pioneer and they read me the manual and then said they would probably seal it. but had no hands on experience. what should i do????? thanks
