loose tinsel lead most likely brahma had a few probs with that in the past . they were suppose to be worked out but hey never know.

I would clean the paint off that location and use two washers to sandwhich the ground wire to secure a solid connection and use a bolt rather than a self tap screw

Deadener is probably the best option. I completely gutted my Mini so I could apply deadener everywhere I could reach. I have used FatMat with good results and the prices weren't bad.

It was a system from 2 vehicles ago. The enclosure was rock solid. Had a P9 combo to deal with whatever equalization was going to be required.
