Rate/Complete my first system

Headunit: Kenwood Excelon KDC-X397

Front speakers: Kicker 40CS654

Back speakers: Kicker 40CS54

Sub: Hifonics BRZ15D4 (1 or 2)

Amp: ??

Havent decided on an amp to power my sub yet, im still undecided because i might put in another sub. Dont know yet. An amp for my speakers i found is MTX THUNDER75.4. Hows that?

Can someone recommend me an amp thats less than $200? Also one where i could add another sub to it and it would power both still. Thanks

Unfortunately those are not the good sub but might suffice you, regarding sub amps I suggest get an apsm 1500 for around $125 or a shark audio 2500 for about $115, run it at 2 ohm and when you are ready to get another sub, dont buy another brz just get 2 decent sub and ask here first with a budget.

let me know if you need links

for inexpensive 4 channel you can look at the vvme 4080 which is 4x80w with 2x25a fusing for around $53

it does not have to be expensive to have decent bass

K lets say i dont have that sub, then what would you guys suggest? I could probably sell it to my friend in full. My budget is somewhere around 300-350 for the subs+amp.. but if you can persuade me to go higher i might

How is my headunit/speakers/other amp?

Also can someone tell me whats wrong with the hifonics sub? Ive only read good reviews

Grab 2-3 hifonics hfx subs for 60-90 shipped and spend like 150-200 on a good amp thats what im doing now the hifonics thump no issues , sell those mtx ive had em only good ones were from back in the day unless you grab a 7500 or 9500

hows your electrical are u willing to add 1 battery at the back?

couple of new subs that are worth looking at will be the shok tritons, c2 audio threatcon subs, older ones which is a little high but still decent priced will be your sundown sa, skar vvx line, psi platform 1.

if i were you ill get a decent sub and a decent box and an alright amp and like i said you dont have to spend a lot of money to get bass

Adding a battery to stock electrical does nothing but add an extra load on your alternator , its only good for running while the car is off whats the point ,its only good when you have a high output alt big enough to charge both batts

I disagree, my factory alternator can charge my front battery and 2 35 ah battery at the back and i have 3 voltage meter that say so, you should not speak if you are not sure.
