Okay guys, I have had my old system sitting in my dads garage for about 10 years now. He passed from Covid so I need to sell them. I am trying to figure out what they are worth because I’m pretty sure they’re somewhat rare. I Don’t remember much about car audio but I DO remember these being a well coveted speaker even 10 years ago. And I do remember them being absolutely ridiculously good. So it is two Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2’s in a custom box with an attached JBL grand touring (monoblock? GTO 1201.1II)
Everything is in good shape and has just been sitting for years. They’re located in central Florida and I’m wondering what I should sell them for? Also if anyone is interested let me know. Thanks!
Here are some photos. I am having my mom take better ones.

Around $75-80 each tops for the subs and $100-150 tops for the amp if everything is in good working condition.

Old? Yes

Rare? Not so much. Power HX2s are the highly desirable ones from HE/HX series.

The equipment is coming up on 20 years old, those subs had soft spiders and most I have seen dating back to 2012 had some degree of spider sag.

The amp is nice but only 2 ohm stable like most other JBL amps and 1200w is kiddie pool levels of power these days.

Appreciate that. So maybe 2-300 or so for everything? I just had to make sure I wasn’t missing something here because I saw a single sub on eBay for 500 (which was probably some bullshit but I just had to find out) thanks for the response

$300 is about the upper end of what you could reasonably get depending on quality and selling market. There are old school car audio groups on Facebook, those folks would be the ones willing to pay the most for that sort of equipment.

Seems a bit steep for what they are. I could see 125-150 each if they were in very nice shape and working 100%. I'm sure even broken someone would pay 50$ a pop for motors and frames and last I checked Springfield Speaker Repair still sells softparts to repair these.

The JBL amp is also nice but they were never expensive nor rare. I've owned one of those and bought them for friends for very reasonable prices from JBL/Harmon eBay store as refurbs. They were a good amp for a good value in their day but 1200W brand new from reputable brand is so cheap these days I'd also say it would be hard asking more than 125$ for that amp.

GLWS.
