Random Picture Thread

Jesus... Yeah that would deff make me steer clear of them.
Yep
That is the extremely short version. The back and forth occurred over a period of about 4 months until I could get the 1st warranty approved. Their selling point is smoke and mirrors from my personal experience.

Gerber knives, found a multi tool in the grass in the park. Gerber fixed the broken blade for free. Streamlight, as long as the serial # isn't stolen they will warranty for life most of the flashlight internals. Harbor Freight, no receipt necessary for most warranties. Craftsman, is store dependant. Some stores will make you ship it to Hq for an inspection. Black and Decker/Dewalt, usually have to ship the tool back for inspection. Had 2 BD that failed, got the "mail it back" response. But had a DW tape measure that broke after a few months. Emailed them pics and they surprisingly shipped me a new one.

In early 2000s Alpine used to have a low cost flat rate repair for out of warranty issues, something like $100 bucks + shipping. Unk of that holds true today.

Anyway here is a random pic to stay on topic.. 20220804_114226.jpg
