We used Plywood back in the day
I could only get my hands on Rough Plywood back then.$5.25 an hour didnt buy muchI've been at it since 85' and never used OSB. Particle board was used a little bit. The good stuff was called medite BITD. I've seen a couple of boxes lately made out of low density fiberboard and they weren't good.

It is funny but on a semi serious note, ryobi, rigid and Milwaukee are all owned by the same parent company when I called their HQ about 5 years ago.
Rigid warranty is a joke and at least the Milwaukee and ryobi warranties are pretty cut and dry with time frame.
I filed a warranty claim with R and they claimed to have lost it during a data transfer. I submitted docs and they lost those. I resubmitted and they claimed they didn't arrive but the signed for package says otherwise. They finally warrantied the batteries. 2 years later I needed new batteries and they refused that warranty since I didn't file a separate warranty claim with the 1st set even though they had documents on their end confirming they approved the initial replacement.Yeah TTI. I have used Rigids warranty one time for a trigger issue and was pretty good IMO. 99% of my power tools are orange and red.

I got Reds and never looked back. 1 warranty claim, occurred during the 5 year period. Item fixed no questions asked and it remained under warranty during that 5 year time span. Pretty black and white/ cut and dry. Supposedly greens are the same way from date of receipt to expiration, no additional claims or warranty cards bs just drop at a repair center.
