I run the Dayton desktop amps also. Sounds great but definitely over stated wattage. Not shabby by any means, but Mo POWAH is needed.

I still have my recalled jack stands. In fact I used them to hold up my car just a few weeks back. I used my jack too but I had the stands under the car. I am wondering how the people that got them to collapse were using these stands. Something seems off because I had the full weight of the car on them and I shook the car violently. The stands were fine.
From what I saw last time there wasn't enough tooth surface compared to their design spec, which called for about double, meaning the teeth weren't capable of supporting as much weight and could possibly be jostled to the next tooth, hammering it and maybe causing a shear. Some also had little teeth in one spot and big teeth in another. I assume the issues occured near the maximum rating, or maybe they realized that their safety margins were cutting it close for something designed to prevent you from being crushed but technically they can still hold rated load.I still have my recalled jack stands.
