I run the Dayton desktop amps also. Sounds great but definitely over stated wattage. Not shabby by any means, but Mo POWAH is needed.

I was going to order the Topping MX3 but after seeing a few reviews on them randomly failing i'm going to order the Dayton DTA-PRO to replace my Dayton DTA30HP I have now(maybe getting 5 watts per speaker with it). It's not as nice as the Topping MX3 but I want a 5 year warranty.

I still have my recalled jack stands. In fact I used them to hold up my car just a few weeks back. I used my jack too but I had the stands under the car. I am wondering how the people that got them to collapse were using these stands. Something seems off because I had the full weight of the car on them and I shook the car violently. The stands were fine.

From what I saw last time there wasn't enough tooth surface compared to their design spec, which called for about double, meaning the teeth weren't capable of supporting as much weight and could possibly be jostled to the next tooth, hammering it and maybe causing a shear. Some also had little teeth in one spot and big teeth in another. I assume the issues occured near the maximum rating, or maybe they realized that their safety margins were cutting it close for something designed to prevent you from being crushed but technically they can still hold rated load.

The replacements have bad welds and can crack from what I see. The originals had poorly cut paws due to "worn out dies" and could slip.

Atleast the owner is recalling them and not just ignoring it like alot of companies that have the same stands under a different name. Better than someone actually dying first.

I don't own HF jack stands but still keep the jack under my vehicles as another safety precaution.

I have inspected mine and find no cracks and all the teeth look new with the exception of some surface rusting that doesn't affect them. My confidence in these is fine. I also have my jack under the main load of the car.
