incredible

i'm playin call of duty here, and the desk is shaking from the mortar hits. the speakers are sony bookshelves (hey, for 55% off, i'll take 'em //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ) and everything is so much more realistic, it's incredible. i recommend this setup to anyone. running a 12x12x12 external box w/ 1.5x4 flared for a Fb of 35 hz.

pics?? so, that's a tangband? how far away is the sub from you?? what's the vloume at on the plate amp?? does Fb stand for 'tuned to'? are the last 3 questions irrelevant!??!

3. its 6inches from my foot, so like 3 feet from my monitor (speakers are like 2 inches on either side of monitor)

4. gain on plate amp is like 3/8th to 1/2 up

5. Fb = tuning frequency

i should also mention that 11-12mm of travel from a 5" cone is fairly impressive, even though my enclosure is so inefficient (space restrictions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif ), it freaking MOVES.

yes sir it is. the line includes the 5.25, mine and the new 8" i believe.
