Quick Line Out Converter Question?

Right now I have my line out converter spliced into the rear speaker wires because I am using the factory headunit. I was wandering if I bought an aftermarket head unit with the RCA cables in the back, will the subs sound any louder like that? Thanks!

They will prob recieve a cleaner signal. I'm doing my first loc install this weekend and my expectations are high.

Well I am not really complaining, but I was just wandering if it would make a difference in SPL if I had an aftermarket HU compared to my LOC.

Actually most of the time going from an LOC to a headunit volume will decrease unless you boost it or use a loud which i do not recommend. LOC's typically have a high voltage output, like the ones i use to install were around 5v at minimum, but id prefer a headunit any day.
