quick gain setting question...

Okay, my DMM that I ordered should be in hopefully tomorrow or maybe Tuesday this week. I've got a CD made with some test tones that I created to set the gains. I was wondering if pink noise would be better to use rather than test tones. Thanks for your help ahead of time.

I was told to use a 50 htz -3db tone with all setting on the deck at 0 and it seem to ork great for me

setting gains with a dmm is totally unnecessary. Set them by ear.

I made a CD with some test tones, one of them is a 50 Hz tone at -3 dB. I'm just wondering about pink noise.

I just set it by ear

Did this, I want to try it with a DMM to see what it'll do for me.
