Whats up guys. First as the name suggests I am new to car audio been reading for quite some time about the brands and looking around on the net trying to find out as much as I can about this stuff. I just want to get some input on what I should get. Budget for speakers componets for the front and some fill for the back, amps, subs is $3,000.

For a head unit i'm gonna go with the alpine with the dvd the iva901

Also I have some money set aside for a new alternator and an extra battery.

Everything else is pretty much up for grabs. The car that it is all going to go into is a 96 honda accord if it makes any difference.

God freaking **** 4gs for some components, comp amp, sub and sub amp.... Man you can get some really really nice stuff. But what size subs are you looking at?

Considering my trunk is only so big I think I would have to say in the 12-15 range for subs, seems the 13w7 has gotten good reviews.

2 to 3 would probably fit in the trunk I dont think I could get much more?

if ur going spl is it extreme are u trying to compete with the big boys

With that kind of money you could have a sq system with lets say a Brahma or IDMAX. Then get 2 dd 9515's for spl. Use the same components and amps, cd player but have you nice sound setup then your I am not gonna play anymore games setup.
