I just recieved my amp as a early Christmas present and was just wondering what does the phase knob do? also my box is going to be tuned to 32hz so what would a good setting for the subsonic filter be to protect the subs?

I wouldnt go that low, maybe aim for 28-30Hz, with a tuning of 32Hz your sub could bottom out at 24Hz...

As for the phase knob, it is if you are going to invert your subwoofer, it switches the + and - . Have it set to 0 unless you plan to invert.

I went with the BX1205D I have heard it is a little overrated, but I have also heard they are reliable and it has a lot of nice features. Plus at 1200RMS i don't care if it is overrated it is plenty of power for a first amp.

I beg to differ. I think 24-25 hertz would be the sweet spot for a box tuned to 32 hertz. Good luck with the setup though jd.

0 would be normal, and 180 would be inverted...

I understand 0 would be normal and 180 would be inverted I'm just wondering why can you chose a setting between 0 and 180 such as 100 for example that doesn't make since to me

ok I don't see why they would put a variable switch on the amp then. They should just put a two way switch for the Phase.

I have a Viper d2500.1 and two ts-w3002spl's and they are inverted. I have the + and - switched at the amp. Should I still set the phase to 180?

is your ts-w3002spl's a pioneer? does it hit hard?just a question coz i have pioneer 5000spl amp so im thinkin if that is a good sub for my amp.
