Questions regarding batteries...

Ok so I have a quick question... I want to compare 2 scenarios. Scenario 1 involves running one, big (let's say 80 ah) battery in my trunk. Scenario 2 involves running two, smaller (let's say 40 ah) batteries in my trunk.

My first question is, will the 2 batteries out do the 1 battery, or since the ah is the same they would produce the same?

Also, would I just run wires in parallel from the under the hood batt, to the trunk batt, then parallel from that batt to the other batt???

If those variables were all that changed, they would perform the same. Keep all batts in parallel and fuse after each one.

The lead plates inside the battery are wired in parallel. So yes.

I dunno about that though, I would rather have one wtfhuge battery.
