questions on subs

Ok I have a 98 extended cab will be buying a box design for a bed cut blow through once I've figured out my answer to this issue here it is I have a memphis pr1x1000 as of now in the truck I'm planning on buying 4 10s for this project question is do I spend all 800 dollars I have on the subs get the best ones I can for the money and use the amp I have to push them for now till I save up and get a better amp or anoher memphis or just get some subs that take less power. I am by no means trying to compete but want to build a system that will slam I listen to a lil bit of everything. Want it to sound good and hit hard.

4 12's in the bed ,you can get some decent subs for $200 each and get another amp later when you get more cash ,also you'll need an extra battery or 3 and a ho alt .because you'll need a 3-5k amp for the subs
