Questions on Amps?

Hello, I am running 2 Audiobahn AW1200's. They are 700W rms a piece and I am looking to match this. Will a 1400W 2 channel amp do the same job as a 1400W 4 channel bridgeable amp? Sorry if this is common knowledge, but I am pretty new to the audio scene and I want to make sure I am buying the right thing before diving in head first!

Dont use a 4 channel to run subs, unless you are running mids or something on the other two channels. Look into a good monoblock, we can point one out for you that does rated or close to it for cheap. What ohm are the subs?

I have been told I am supposed to run these subs @ 4ohm. Is there any way I can confirm this real fast?

yeah, look on the bottom of the sub, it should say dual (4) ohm

I just checked and my subs are Dual 4 Ohm Coil High Excursion Subs. Straight from the manual
