Questions about wiring

I have a couple questions about wiring my system.

1. When wiring more than one battery where to put the fues?

2. I have a side post stock battery is there a way that I can put adapters on the stock battery to connect the ring terminals?

One last question about the batteries....do I connect all positives to each other and all negatives to each other?

Everything in your power system goes + to + and - to - ... (Only thing that will ever be wired in series is a voicecoil on a subwoofer) If you wire them in series, you will double the voltage and fry everything.

Fuses go as close to each battery as reasonably possible. One fuse by the battery under the hood, and one by the battery in the trunk.

You should fuse within 18 inches of each battery (at least this is a common recommendation) the best way to wire multiple bats is to run power wire from the pos post on the starter battery to the pos post on the secondary battery, not a bad idea to run an isolator if you don't want to use both batteries to jolt the starter ( could prevent battery drain) But rather than running another wire from neg post to neg post, just ground the secondary bat neg post into the frame metal, its easier and the expanded size of the frame will pose less resistance than a thin run of power wire. As far as the side post, Im guessing GM, and the best way I have seen is to get an after market terminal and just cut that ring terminal off

so i really dont need to run a ground wire from the front battery to the other two?

how good is install bay 0 gauge wire
