questions about possible upgrades

Ok, so I want my truck to get loud on occasion, but have great sound quality while being a daily driver. I listen to all kinds of music and I have very little room so I am limited to a 10 at most which is just fine with me.

Right now, this is what I have.

Avic D3, a Mark Antony 2100 ESQ for the interior speakers, a MTX 282 for my sub, Fusion 6.5 components up front (install this week), stock in rear (will upgrade, I usually have people back there), and an Infinity perfect 10 in a sealed 12x12x12 box. The sub is about 5-6 years old, but still is fine and it is a SVC 4ohm.

I think I will be much happier when I get the comps installed as I really have no midbass right now with the CRAPPY stock speakers. But I would really like more bass for my sub, but I don't have room for a second without a whole box change out, amp relocation, etc. I do not want to go all out, and have 0 interest in any competitions, just want a little more. I think there is a combination of problems for the sub, first that it is underpowered. I have it bridged on the 282 right now, but it still is not that great. Second, I am sure the box it is in is likely all wrong for it, but I don't know what it needs that would fit in that space. I currently have it between the back seat and the center front seat in my 2006 Silverado crew cab. It fits perfectly and I would rather keep the box and replace the sub than anything else. Another problem is the sub is 4ohm SVC, but most powerful cheap amps I have found run best at 2 or 1 ohm.

On a side note, I LOVE the system in my boat, and would like to get the same amp and sub for my truck but it is pricey. For my boat I have a PPI DCX800.5 with a JL 10w6v2 in a custom box. There are also 10 Alpine 6.5 coax speakers on the front and rear channels, not sure how it is wired as I had it installed when I bought the boat. It gets LOUD, and the sub hits hard, MUCH better all around than my truck.

If I were to get another 800.5 for my truck, I know it would be more than enough power for what I want, including the sub. Would the 10w6 work in the sealed box that I have, or would it be terrible? I was also looking at the Hifonics ZXI 8006 5 channel amp, and it is much cheaper and not quite as powerful. Anyone have any thoughts on that amp?

Ok, so I looked on ebay and found a PPI DCX 800.5 shipped for $216. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif It is factory refurb and comes with a one year warranty so I am pretty happy about that considering how much I love it in my boat and everywhere else they are $500.

Now that it is on the way, let me ask this. What 10 in sub would be a good fit for it? The amp is rated for 1x400rms @ 2ohms on the sub channel at 12.5v or 1x200 @ 4 ohms. Right now, my sub is a SVC 4ohm so I need something that is either SVC 2ohm, or DVC 4ohm. I also have a sealed box, and I really like it's location so I would prefer not to have to change it but I will if there is no better option.

So, hit me with 10in suggestions. Don't want to spend a fortune, maybe $150 max.
