Questions about my 12W7...

I have a 12W7 in a sealed enclosure made to JL specs. The sub is awesome and REALLY LOUD I was just wondering for some reason on certain rap songs like Chingy- Holiday inn it seems different than other W7's that I have heard. The amp right now is a MA Audio Digital Class X amp 1800.1. It seems as if it stays off tone with the tone of the song. I was wondering if it could be the particular amp i am using right now. I heard it could also be the distortion of the song because songs like 36 Mafia- Late nigt tip hit perfectly and amazing.

yeah its sounds like its just the song. is the song ur reffering to an mp3? if so that could be the problem....shouldnt be ur amp

Yeah on my subwoofer, Ain't no Sunshine Ain't got no bass. But on my friends it gives you a headache. My Sub goes way lower though, like on Rap Bass songs it gets reallly low.

I have found probably 75% of my problem. The hole that my installer made in the box is leaking air. So I need to find something to patch it up.
