Questions about facing my Rockford Fosgate 12" subs facing UP....

Hey all,

I have a pair of Rockford Fosgate 12" subs mounted in a nice ported box (ad you can see from the picture). The absolute most optimal position to maximize cargo space in my expedition is for me to mount the facing UP as you see in the photo.

I'm not worried about any change in sound response, but I'm worried about the fact that they're facing up. Is there any harm in them facing that way (long-term, or otherwise) ? I hear horror stories about gravity, and cone sag, etc....i just wanna make sure I'm not physically harming my nice equipment.

Thanks a ton in advance,

Matt!

Sorry for the delayed response response, my email notifications for this thread weren't working...

Thanks for the feedback, guys! Yea, I'm powering these with a Precision Power S1300.1D, and they sound amazing.

Also, I feel even better since I already knew enough beforehand, and I purchased the blinker fluid warranty when I bought these speakers (was only $45).

Thanks again!
