Questions about Alpine Type R Speakers

I'm looking into getting some Alpine Type R speakers to replace my stock speakers in my 1996 Toyota Camry. I'm going to run them off my Alpine 9884 head unit until I get an amp. Does it matter which ohm speakers I get? And also, do you know if a 1996 Camry has a stock amplifier? Thanks..

Headunit IIRC is 4ohm, so you would need to get the subs to match 4ohm. And then your amp would need to match what your Subs are.

Not sure about the Camry amp, don't think so though
