hey guys im planning on adding a Hifonics Brutus BRZ1200.1D amp, and 2 Kicker CVR102 sub woofers.

I already have 2 8" Kicker L7 Solo Barics and a Kicker ZXS1000.1 amp hooked up to my battery (yellow top optima)

my question is...if i hooked up my hifonics brutucs and cvr subs, could i hook the power supply to the same battery or would i need to get another battery?

i am not very educated in car audio so i just need a few tips and pointers.

oh and i drive a 2005 Chevy Silverado Crewcab 1500LS

Anyone? I really am needing some help on this. I just need to know if I need 2 batteries or if my one battery will get the job done.

Honestly that a bad idea all together. What you need to do is revamp your current sub stage. If you can fit 2 8s and 2 10s u can fit 2 good 12s and sound better doing it. Plus alot easier on your electrical.

But to do what you are suggesting i believe you would need a batt and prob a bigger alternator. How many amps is your alt putting out?

2 12in dcons for example would get alot louder then your 2 kicker 8s, sound better and that kicker amp will work just fine. You will just need a box built to spec and set your gains properly

I'm doing it because I have a truck and I'm putting 2 8"s under the seat and 2 10"s behind the seat. I just thought it would sound better than just 2 8" subs. I already started with the 8"s and kicker amp. Should I just return the hifonics amp and 10" subs? What would y'all do? And remember my max mounting depth is 5 3/4 inches so I can't fit many 12s, that's why I got 10s
