question with 2 amp installation.

hey guys im wiring two amps and i just had a quick question. I'm wiring a phoenix gold tantrum 1200.1 to my 2 subs. I'm then running a hifonics titan4401 to my 2 front components and 2 back coaxials. My question is should i wire one 0 gauge power wire from the battery to the trunk and just split that to two 4 guage right before the amp. Or should I wire a 0 gauge from the battery for the phoenix gold and a seperate 4 gauge for the hifonics. basically i want to know if splitting them into two 4 gauge right before the amps is going to rob to much power from my subs. any help would be great guys. 0ga. split to two 4ga. works fine. Use a fused distribution block.
