Question the Authenticity of the Morel Tempos i got from woofersetc.

The midrange driver and crossovers are the same on both sets but the tweeters are a bit smaller on the X set from what the dude from Morel told me. good thing you have that issue worked out. i always buy from an authorized dealer just for the peace of mind that i'm getting a legit product. plus if there are any warranty issues...i know i'll be taken care of.

I have dealt with woofers etc many many many times. They have always been really nice and fair. I'm sure they are legit at this point but i also didnt want to be a test subject. I would rather the tried and true tempo set. There is a reason this set msrp is $100 lower....

I ran mine on my home stereo, but I don't have the gear ready to install them in my car. They sound pretty decent to me, but obviously they will be a lot different in the car. I don't think the 50 dollars more for a different tweeter is probably worth it (for a nicer tweeter). If you're going to spend $50 more. you might as well spend $150, and get the dotechs.

Got my normal Tempo 6's today. Came with the authentication card thing n everything. The tweeter defiantly looks and feels quite different. The regular 6 tweet is heavier feeling and more solid. The 6x felt kind of like plastic and cheaper. I didn’t listen to the 6x tweet so I can’t comment on sq of it just the look and feel. I am defiantly happier paying $30 more per set for these. I know there is nothing scientific there at all but woofersetc did take care of me and handled it quite well when they could of hung me out to dry easily.

No new xover that i am aware of... The change in the 6 and 6x is only the tweeter i believe.
