Ok, I need more input from u gurus here. Need some speaker choice for my '06 Scion Xb. I wanted to with JL Audio but wanted to see if there's something that's a better bang for the buck.

$100-$150 per set of speakers is what I can do.

I need 4'' coaxial, 5.25'' coaxial and 6.5 components.

The 4 goes in the dash, pointing upwards towards the windshield, the 6.5 goes in front doors, nothing goes in back doors, and 5.25 goes in the trunk, I need back speakers changed cuz i go to drive in movies often and when I lay the seats flat my head is resting on backseats.

At least recommend the PRS's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
I guess I'll go with the Pioneer PRS & a cheap coax for the rear, maybe the Pioneer TS-G1342R
out of his price range the PRS are.

the 6.75 PRS are $289.00/pair. + shippingthat leaves $150. for a pair of 4" and 5.25' coax..
They can be had cheaper & all he needs is a little rear fill. I think he realised by post 4 that sometimes less is more & forgot about the 4" idea.

the sound is only going to be as good as the weakest link, in this case leaving stock 4's in would be that weak link. especially if they are already running off of the HU why not just upgrade them? just because he has $450 to spend doesnt mean he HAS to spend it. saving money is a good thing.

edit* op changed his mind on the 4's while i was writing my post sigh, i give up lol.

it seems that way, that 4'' will b a waste ? so I can use the extra money for front components ? and it will b easier on the amp too I guess ?
yeah going with a true 3 way setup or what you had proposed would mean less quality speakers in less than quality locations. I think you would be better off just amping a nice 2 way component set up front and running some coaxials off deck power for the rear fill...and disconnect the 4" stock speakers of course

I'm also searching around forum and PRS seems to b popular in this pricerange and also Boston Acoustics Pro60SE.

And for the back Pioneer TS-D502P would b enough ? they'r only $60 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

In the end it's around $350 shipped for both, so less then I expected.
