Question the Authenticity of the Morel Tempos i got from woofersetc.

My tweets had a holographic sticker on em, doesnt seem good to me but could be buyout or something. Look into it defiantly.....

I took one of my sons holograph things from an activity book to see if i could see anything on any of the speakers and nothing was there. I also used a black light to check and no markings either. I sent woofersetc an email asking what was up with this and i will keep everyone updated. As a heads up though these are clearly not normal tempo 6 speakers.

I have faith they will handle this just fine. I have dealt with them many many times and in the one issue i had with an item they replaced it extremely fast.

To be clear I am not calling them scammers but there is something fishy about the speakers i was sent...

I'm willing to be they are legit. They probably mess with the numbers because they don't want them to be traced.

its not only the wattage that is diff its a completely different tweeter and it states that the 6.5 has a different coil material. Woofersetc responded and asked for my number. They said they will contact me to look into the matter.

Well, i got a call from david at woofers etc tonight, I was in a meeting so i couldnt answer the call. I will give him a call in the morning. I must say they do answer email and calls fast.

They are a legit place, so hopefuly it all works out... I know a lot of people question the authenticity on these components, but I never hear any follow up after they accuse.

Of course ! Thats the best way to cover your ass in Any situation before it spreads like wild fire. They immediately jumped on this very forum a few months back for damage control too.

I really doubt they are fake, my buddy got the Tempo6 comps and Tempo6 coax from woofersEtc and they sound awesome. I really don't think somebody is going to make fake speakers and put this much quality into them.

Don, have you ever heard of this line. The Tempo 6x ? Someone earlier mentioned that your a morel dealer i didnt know that. I have purchased several sets of rainbows from you in the past years. Do you also carry morel or were they talkin out of their butts ? Anyways, Do you have any info on these? I know im going to end up returning them but am now curious about these speakers since morel doesnt even have any information on them.

Ok, so I just got off the phone with David at woofersetc. He was nice about the situation. agreed to take these speakers back and exchange them for regular tempos. Of course i get to pay shipping back to them and $30 per set to upgrade but eh.... I suppose itll be a touch more then the price i anticipated but i will be happy in the end with the normal tempo line. Ill update when i get the others in!

They seem to have 1000 numbers. A new number every time they call. Just send them a pm with your number and they will call you pretty fast. I dunno if these arent as good of quality or anything. No one has had a chance to test them out really but i didnt want to be the one to test it in my cadillac...
