Truthfully, your amplifier is not powerful enough to run that Type R subwoofer at 4 ohms mono, much less 8 ohms mono.

Did it work today after rewiring your subwoofer?

yea worked fine after taking out that black wire. but it wasnt hitting hard at all

you need more power. use that amp on your fronts and get a good 600 watt mono block.

No thats weak, If you want kicker get a ZX750.1 . That should be enough power for your type R. Just look for a mono amplifier that will do over 600wrms @ 2 ohms x 1 ch

Orion HCCA-D2400 amplifiers for sale on Ebay that do 800wrms @ 2 ohm for $179 shipped. Great deal if you ask me.
