First off, buy a DMM, if you don't already have one.
Secondly, re-check all your connections, and make sure your underhood fuse is secure in its holder.

not sure about my under the hood fuse holder is. my battery is under my back seat

sounds to me like you have it wired @ 1 ohm parallel and the amp cant take it

its litterally under the seat. i have an 01' bonnie. so i have to take the back seat out to get to my battery

Wire your voice coils + of one voice coil to the amp, the - of that voice coil to the + of the other voice coil, and the - of that second voice coil to your amp.

My amp was doing that a while back, it was because my fuse in my dist block was bouncing around when i would go over some bumps or something, and it would go into protect for a few seconds.

By the way that amp shouldnt be pushing a type R. Get something that puts out 1000wrms@1 ohm.

How did you wire up the subwoofer to the terminal cup. Is it like Option 1 or Option 2 in the following link:

thats how its hooked up
