Hello I'm still currently trying to solve my car lights / dash dimming. I plan on buying a new battery when I get my taxes. But my current wire is "0gauge" I don't remember what brand it is but not a brand that's common for wire. But I was thinking maybe my lights dim from trying draw too much power through a small wire? I believe my power wire is about 15 feet long and has a 100a fuse on it, I'm running about 1700rms total. I was thinking wouldn't that wire be pulling alot more than 100a if its really 0 gauge? But I know almost nothing about how the current flows through wire so any help could help me cross this off the list of probabilities. So I know fuses can take more than the rated amps for short period of times, but anyone ran about 1700rms on a 100a fused wire more than 15 feet long? Also my wire does seem a lil small for 0 gauge but then again I've never seen a true 0 gauge vs fake 0 gauge wire in person. The wire came with no strand count so I have no idea how many it has. If you think the wire in a little small I was thinking about buying 25 feet of knu 0 gauge to replace the power/ground and also the big three. So any help would be very helpful.
