And im guessing a 300amp fuse or should i got 280?run 2/0 welding cable, and you can pull 300 amps all day, all night, every day .....100% of the time .....
Yea i need to change my sig but i threw out 1/0 the other day ill be putting in 3/0 since its only a little bit more than the 2/0 ill just have to get a step down lug for the ampi ordered 25ft of the 2/0 cci wire it was plenty flexable and all copper...I would say that its a tad bigger than ca 1/0 just becuse of how tight the 1/0 lugs fit..Love the stuff and for the price i would never buy anything else..25ft was just enough to do big 3 and run a second battery in trunk of 93 olds 88 royale...i run 4 12s and 2000watts rms...so make sure u get the 2/0 welding wire not 1/0..my 2 cents
Sorry to bump this back upYea i need to change my sig but i threw out 1/0 the other day ill be putting in 3/0 since its only a little bit more than the 2/0 ill just have to get a step down lug for the amp
I have no idea lol ive never used them but once i get the wire i was gonna check around at local shops and see if anyone carrys themSorry to bump this back upWhat terminal brand and size are you going to use for that welding wire?
Ill have to look into that i was thinking home depot or lowes for the terminals i dont think they'll carry the step downs to go into the amps though, does carquest carry those?Carquest has 4/0 copper terminals. I bought like 40 3/0 years ago for cheap from them.
2/0 shca = 4/0 welding wire, their amp inputs would be pretty good for 4/0 but idk what will fit weld 2/0-3/0Ill have to look into that i was thinking home depot or lowes for the terminals i dont think they'll carry the step downs to go into the amps though, does carquest carry those?
