Ok first off I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I wasn't sure where else to post. But my question is what happens when you over load a stiffening cap? I've tried googling it and nothing came up after hours of looking. I don't plan on over loading a cap just curiously //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I do have .5 farad cap that says its good for 500 rms/1000 watts peak. What would happen if you try hooking that up to a 3k rms amp? Would it blow the cap up? Or just make the cap worthless? Do any help here would be great //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but again I am NOT doing this, just wondering what would happen.
