Featured Bass knob cable

Hello so I ran into a problem. I have the sundown SIA 3500 watt amp and the bass knob stopped working. I did some testing and found out it was the cable that connects the bass knob to the amp and not the entire bass knob. I did some research and found that the cable is a RJ12 6 pin but the problem is standard has white has pin 2 while the sundown cable has white has pin 5. Would a standard rj12 cable work. As long as it has the same number of pins, I think it would work.

Just make sure continuity matches from pin to pin on both sets of cables.

The color does not matter as long as they are on the same slot on both ends of the same cable.

The bass knob was already replaced. Then then the problem. What is the rating for the bass knob? Find one knob with in specs. Frequency, range, decibels/octave. Then match the settings to what your system requires.

I went to Amazon and purchased a set of 6 pin plastic ends and a crimper, whole lot cheaper then the new bass knob. Also take a picture of the pattern, it's simple to use a new end
