Study theosophy.
Never said God plays a part in those writings. An understanding of quantum theory is an opening into the study of God as they parallel each other. As above, so below; and in the middle = God. If God = all potential (as defined mathematically) he is no thing. God cannot be something because all potential is lost.

Where is God in the yin/yang symbol? His He it? Why is He consuming himself?

Either/or. It's pure consciousness.
Ex] Zen monks devote their entire lives stripping themselves of everything. They spend hours and hours trying not to think of anything, just simply BEING. If you want to get close to God, according to this philosophy, you should not believe or do anything.

i studied zen buddhism for a ver little while back in 2001. the thing that gets me is stripping desires. if u want to strip desires, isn't that a desire?

Wrong. A deaf person would feel the sound shockwave if the tree hit hard enough to cause one and they were close enough.

It's no different than being able to feel a subwoofer... once the SPL reaches a high enough level.

since sound travels in waves, u do not have to be present for an object to make a sound. u hear explosions form miles away i.e. like a large comet hitting the earth somewhere. even if the person is deaf with their back turned to the falling tree, they know something happened cause of the vibrations that the soundwaves give off.

Yes it does. The ears work by simply reacting to the sound waves, sending the signal to the brain via a network of nerves, and the brain interprets signal of reaction/vibration of the eardrum as something audible.

If a person lacks eardrums or they just don't work properly, they can still interpret sound by the sound waves exerted on their skin, if the SPL is high enough.
