Q's for atheists and maybe hardcore agnostics

Freedom of Religion - was based on the principal of practicing the Catholic religion
That definitely sounds like freedom of religion. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

that is an impractical question; the correct question would be do I have the obligation to marry her and have children? Several things would have to be in place; (1) She would have to all ready not have offspring, (2) I would have to not be married, (3) She would have to agree to the relationship and (4) I would have to be Jewish as what you are asking is a religious belief practiced by the Jewish religion - but nice try, stick to economics
So is the Bible a la carte?

if he judges the dead, then where did the dead go before he came by? Or are stuck in that place you call purgatory?
But, why would he need to "judge" given the following:

It sounds like an either or proposition to me.
Don't know where they are, could be the realm inbetween heaven and hell...but once you get there let me know

it is an either or proposition - either you do or you don't; but I guess he will be giving those who first didn't believe the choice to now accept him as their Lord and Savior

1. Then perhaps you should look in the bible to find out where they are since they are the source of your religion. It should be mention since it would only make sense to let those who will die know where they go before they are to be judged by their God.

2. That's just your opinion of what can happen. Unfortunately there seems to be no validity in what you are saying. And that is the main problem i have with religion

Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"

Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course, as I have already said. We see it everyday. It is in the daily examples of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil.

To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat, or the darkness that comes when there is no light."

The professor sat down.
Evil is only analog to cold and darkness if you believe in a god. There is no proof or even a logical series of assertions in this line of thinking.

you have finally said something right - it is your problem, i have no problem with my religion.

It is in the bible, those that accept Jesus will be seated at the right hand of God, those that don't accept him will go to hell - how much more clear do you want it to be

It's not a la carte, certain scriptures and belief's are practiced by different religions, Jew's discredit the New Testament, which Christianity is mostly based on.
But why is both studied?

If the Old Testament isn't important in Christianity, why is studied? Wasted paper?
