putting vinyl on my box

Well today i went out and got some black vinyl and some spray adhesive from 3M

Now all i need to know is how to do it..Can you guys give me some advice on this?

make sure the box is smooth as shit, and you have a heat gun, and that the box is built right so you can cover it propperly. and not looks like ***.

yeah im going to sand it with 150 or 225 and im going to round the edges i was more concerned with the edges tho Im not real sure how to make them nice with out cutting the vinyl

I hope you didn't buy Super 77 adhesive for this.

probably should save the vinyl. its gonna be realllllly hard to do unless ur box is smooth as hell. if u have never delt with vinyl this isnt the time to start. just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I "tried" to cover my box in vinyl. Didn't exactly come out the way that I had it in my mind.

well the box is smooth as hell it was was ready to be gloss painted, but i like the vinyl look better, so when do you think is a good time to start?? lol:laugh:
