Putting speaker wire in a Dodge Neon

Does anybody know how to put speaker wire through the door of a Neon? Cause I tried putting to through the rubber piece in the door but theres a connecting piece for my power windows and that. I was about to rip the door off cause i'm getting pissed right off.

had same problem in my old intrepid. the hose from body to door was actually a plug so i could nt run anything through it. so i pealed back the weatherstirpping and cut out a chunk of metal, repainted it, and ran the wire that way out of the body into the hose in the door

I would do that but my speakers are going to be connected to my amp.

disconnect the wires from your HU and attach a new lead, and run that to the back.

Thats what i did, but im goint to drill a new hole in the door, and use a grommett, as well as a small wire hose...or whatever its called.

I used the stock boot (2003 SRT-4) and cut a hole in an empty spot in the harness plug. Don't have a picture but it wasn't that hard and no permanent holes in the metal or extra wires in the door jamb.

Well I got it all installed and finally happy. My speakers are nice. But I find the tweeters are a little harsh on my ears. But oh well. I'm happy.

you are going to hate me for this, but that plug tha you speak of, has some empty plastic "plug holes" in it. and all you gotta do is use a drillbit and drill a hole thru the empty spot (of course you take the boot off the other side to make sure you arent drilling into some wires or anything at all sides that plastic for that matter.

usually thats all there is to it.
