Pushing subs too hard??!?!

you should sell that box, save up a little more cash and get a quality box built by someone on here tuned lowww, you will love it just my .02

Also I would like to add that the porting on the box is completly separate from each sub they do not share a port

Op should just buy an audiopipe apsm-1500, one Type R, and a prefab for it. will spend less and get louder.

See that's the thing they might not know jack but I don't know jack either. The street customs place wants 200$ to install plus wiring and best buy charges 99.00$ I understand the concept of you pay for what you get so I guess I might as well just keep adding to the alReady huge pile of money I've thrown into it.

@ below20 I would love to but i just don't have the money right now and from what I hear custom boxs aren't cheap. I am experienced enought to build my own box I just don't have the time either between work and school. Maybe once I get out of college.

Also, the other option is to run the one type x I have @ 2 ohm 900 w till I save up enough to get another x

Thanks to all who replied!!! Ended up going with DB drive A7 amp and two 12" X's and could prolly only be more satisfied with w7's

Your best bet might have been to shop around a little more. For what you paid for those 2 X, you could have bought something a little better on here that has a higher rms rate so you could upgrade amps down the road. The one thing to keep in mind is that you will get use to it and want more later on down the line. Type X's are good subs, but you needed to figure out what you wanted more SQ or SPL or a combo of both SQL, then buy the subs, amps, etc accordingly.

Since you've already got everything now, put it all in and see how you like it. However, if you decide you don't or want to change it later on search, read, & ask before you do not after. Good luck with the build and welcome to this hellhole hobby we call car audio..........
