x2. Only real reason why I use the SPC for RCAs I linked is because I like his color selection and the quality of the insulation, as well as his customer service.So unnecessary...
Optical is readily available to the enthusiast who wants it.I can't believe that car audio hasn't evolved to the point where we are using optical cables rather than RCAs. I mean my dad's old record player from the 70s has RCAs outs on it.
I can't off the top of my head think of any head units that have optical out, and I definately can't think of any amplifiers that do. I can imagine that there are some pretty high priced H/U that may have it as an alternate out, but what would you connect it to, other than an converter to take the optical to rca further down the line.Optical is readily available to the enthusiast who wants it.
