How long is the actual battery life if you playing continuosly for hours.

and that 3.93 firmware. can u really download and install any game u want for free? and whats the average size (in mb or gb) of one game?

im planning on buying a used one locally. is it worth buying it?

Depends on what games you like playing, I bought one when it came out hoping to get GT4, the game never came out so I sold mine six months ago. Battery life is pretty good, at least 3 or 4 hours playing a game from the memorystick, don't know about from the UMD, as I only had one UMD. Each game varies, some are as small as 70mb, others are 1.5gb, but there are ripkits that you can get to compress the larger games. If you know how to use newgroups or bittorrent, you should be fine getting games, installing the games is simply copying the iso or compressed iso onto the memory stick. Flashing the firmware can be a hassle, but there should be automatic installers out now... As for the value to you, I would say that $80ish for a regular would be a good deal, maybe $130 or so for a slim.
