I just brought my pioneer PRS-D5000SPL amp last monday and it says..

CEA2006 Specifications:

• 750 Watts x 1, at 4 ohms

• 1500 Watts x 1, at 2 ohms

• 60 dBA Signal-to-Noise Ratio (Reference: 1 Watt Output)

My question is, how much rms power it will give at 3 ohms load? Bcoz my subwoofer is JBL w12Gti and it is dual 6 ohms.

thank you for the reply... but, what do you mean by this ( if this is the pioneer amp you my friend have the wrong spec sheet though) yes it is pioneer, are you saying that this amp is overrated?

I don't think that that amp is overrated... i haven't used it though but from what i've heard that amp is seriously underrated...

I'm thinking to buy a PRS-D3000SPL
