okay build your side pieces right.....get them fine and dandy. get your first floor piece right, then build up off that. jack it up with like a little automotive jack until its level. drill your holes, bolt it down with thread all or whatever that thick *** threaded stuff is called right. then tighten it down really tight. use a breaker bar if you have to get it REALLY tight.

then build your 2x4 supports for the front. you bolt down the back half to the floor, because thats all thats gunna lift in a crash, is the back half, or its all going to slide. no need to bolt the front half down.

Some guy's selling 40.1s for a grand each just so you know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif that's a VERY nice price, $400 off each.
not a bad deal.

not a great deal either......4 20.1's can be had for less...

physics doesnt exactly allow something to topple backwards in the event of something stopping suddenly with a forward/downward movement....(slamming on breaks and hitting someone)

i wouldnt worry about the front if you had 2 rows of 4 in the back, zig zag'd

but as a box. front and back triangled, and anywhere else possible as well. triangles = strong. period.

I myself would make a frame out of 2x4s spacing about every 12 or so inches on center then put mdf on the top and sides. And for the box I would make the box single baffle ports on one side not middle and the external bracing with 2x4s, another layer of mdf and fill it with foam.

Go to a local fabrication shop and have them throw together a frame, box tube for the supports to the floor and angle iron to set the box in and bolt it in. It would be much stronger and they could make most of it out of scrap so it would be cheap.
