this is in no way final. but it will give you a good idea (without the beauty panels naturally) of just what this might end up looking like.

Trple baffed the back because thats where the amps are going

To save weight, and some materials cost, have you considered a 2x4 (or 2x6) and birch frame to hold and raise it up? Just a suggestion.

Use the imagination

One sheet for the floor. Use 2x4's as lifts, put another sheet of of MDF on top of that and there you go, a floor.

May want to go thicker on the wall. Triple all the way!

It's no different than if you were to stack all of that MDF on top of each other. . . Read what I wrote. You're basically making a box, with MDF on the top and bottom and 2x4's in the middle to raise it.

The only way it would be dangerous is if you didn't attach the 2x4's to the MDF, but who would do that?

yes, but there is a point where its over doing it. to hold up a floor of a house they use horizontal 2x4s and that supports much more weight that your MTs

I think I knowvwhat prochobo is saying. ill draw it up today.

gotta remember that while yes houses are built that way, they don't have too stand uo to stop and go traffic as well as the potential for a crash. you build it, and it just kinda stays in place......a wall isn't the same concept, so its more of apples to oranges in this case.......but I think we might be able to lay out some 4x4's potentially.

ill see what I can comjure while I'm supposed to be workin today....
