Go to a local fabrication shop and have them throw together a frame, box tube for the supports to the floor and angle iron to set the box in and bolt it in. It would be much stronger and they could make most of it out of scrap so it would be cheap.

Not a bad idea...Just to see what it would cost. Take the measurements you need to a local Metal/fab shop. And see what they would charge to throw together a quick frame. It would be the strongest best option. Nothing would compare if you had a Metal subframe for your wall.

i just got 2 sheets of 3/4" mdf and 40 ft worth of 2x4 to build the floor. 50 bux.

they do but again as robin said, houses dont move and stop and go in traffic...or get in accidents lol

You'll be fine, I haven't died from my 2x4's yet. knock on wood.

So where is the actual floor going? Are you going to be building it where the seats are?

ya the seats are actually on ebay right now, theyve been out of my truck, but ya the floor really is just to level it off with the height of the cargo floor so the wall can be on one flat surface. it would have been too hard to build the wall in the dip where the seats were and then go up to the cargo floor, etc...

my car smells like home depot inside cuase ive had mdf and 2x4s in it for 2 days lol
