~Project Avalanche~ Series 6th Order Bandpass Rebuild.

risers are painted, and screwed down. I also started building a box to hold the batteries in the bed of the truck. Forgot to take pics though, i'll post em up tonight.

If i get done with my homework in a timely manner, ill have a few friends come over so we can lift the sub box into the truck. The box is what is holding me back, because i cant build the beauty panel until the box is in, and i cant build the amp rack until the beauty panel is done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

****in sexy, how much do those dc's run$$ a piece?

You'll have to chat with rusty on prices, send him a PM on caco.com, he'll get right back to ya.

As for the build, good and bad happened today. I got the box in, but it seems that one of the subs is all frozen up. Never seen power, only been touched to be mounted up in the box. Both coils read out fine too. I just emailed rusty so we'll see what he wants to do.

Onto pics

So this is how the rest of the project is gonna go down:

-figure out the whole sub thing

-build a beauty panel

-build an amp rack on the front of the beauty panel

-build battery rack

-wire it all up!

I think you picked the wrong colour to paint the box, shows WAY to many flaws in the paint around the subs and at the back of the port
although the silver does show some flaws, the box is very dusty in those pictures, and after the beauty panel goes on, the inside of the box will be quite dark.

have fun removing that sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gifsucks.

when you headed back out here?
already removed it. it was one of the front mounted ones, so it was easy to get out.

I wont be back that way for a while, i'll hit you up when i do though.

prolly wont have much progress today, lots to do today. And no email back from rusty yet, must be a busy week.

Time to go change a flat for one of my girlfriends friends, take one of the WSU swimmers to the hospital to get her MRI, then HOMEWORK

coming along great man. I know what you mean about fitting builds in around school and other crap. My build got pushed back because of a leaking radiator, efan crapping out and mid terms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Should be back up to speed soon. I look forward to seeing the finished product. Are you gonna post any of this on caco?

How thick are those supports bro? They look kinda skimpy IMO.

Wouldn't want you to build an amprack back there & have your supports give.. that's never good.

Just somethin' I noticed. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

edit: Everything is coming along sick btw.. great work.
