~Project Avalanche~ Series 6th Order Bandpass Rebuild.

sorry guys, i've been slacking on the updates. one more mid term this week and i have some free time, so i can give my truck a wash and get everything tuned up nicely. Expect some new vid's by the weekend.

updates to come in the near future (probably not for a few weeks)

-repainting interior pieces

-fiberglass door pods and two sets of components for frontstage

-tweeter's glassed into A-pillars

We are currently working on my girlfriends brothers truck, so the painting and glassing in my rig wont be for a little bit. We've gone through 3 rolls of raamat in his 4runner so far, almost done with that, then the toys can go in. Maybe i'll do a build log of that as well

went back and retuned everything today. I had a bit of a white noise, and got rid of most of it now.

I was going to wash the truck and take some vids today, but i ended up box building all day. Gotta get a box in my girlfriends bro's 4 runner, girlfriends escape, and im making one for some other subs im selling locally.

Im slacking, i know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif I'll get some decent vids up + vids of hairtricks of hot bishes soon.

so far the box is treating my nicely. Im curious to see how it is going to compare on the meter though. I dropped to lower RMS drivers and am using 500rms less power, but i THINK im tuned a bit higher in terms of my vehicles resonating frequency.

I should have some TL scores and better videos up tomorrow when me and howie (ridnclean) meet up

Interested as to your peak on this box compared to last. Whats the actual tuning of the front chamer?
I know the port is only 3/4" thick, but do you know the real tuning?
nope, lol. Kinda rigged together a math system to tune to vehicle peak freq rather than box frequency, should be an interesting test //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Metered the truck today.

Good news: the math behind the box was correct. I peaked at 37hz, and the design was to peak around 38hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif

bad news: i metered a 147.xx at the dash and 148.xx in the kick, legal.

Sssooo, we read my voltage for kicks, and im CHARGING at 13 volts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif Looks like i have some troubleshooting and adjusting to do so i can get back on the meter and put something better up.

Ridnclean and Noph33rracing took some videos. Im sure they'll end up on the forum sooner or later.
