~Project Avalanche~ Series 6th Order Bandpass Rebuild.

Finished running the remainder of the wiring. Mounted the amps, but havent wired them in yet. Put the big batteries in, cut wire to length for them. Mounted up the toggle switches for the LED's and voltage meter, but i havent decided where the voltage meter is going yet.

pics up later. I'll try to get more done tonight if my homework doesnt take me too long.

Yeah im pumped with how all the colors came out. Everything blends together nicely.

I got my LED's up and working, but then ran out of daylight, and i got homework/workout to do.

I'll try to take a vid of the LED's on my way to the gym, they are pretty sick.

One thing though... What's with the brass screws????
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I didnt have any others at the moment. Once the amp for my girlfriends car gets here, they wil be switched out bcause i will steal her nice screws //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sneaky.gif.7189749b3a3f769e8815b47e8ae87f88.gif

if your talking about the ones on the beauty panel, i havent gotten around to covering them yet.

Haha oh. Yea I just meant all of them, the amp feet and the panel both.
This build makes me jealous... FML

and major props to doing a big and nice build during school and work. Been there done that.
As much as i love installing (moreso than having stereos), i'll be glad when this one was done. This has been one busy semester.

Hopefully this will be done on saturday. If not, it wont be done for another couple weeks due to MORE tests.

crimping the last of the terminals as we speak. four more to go, then zip-tieing wire, then tuning //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

this shall be a nice 39.9 bassracer.
ill probably keep it to the 29.9 class. Hoping to burp a 140 @ 55hz. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Really not sure what to expect from this box though. The way it was designed was interesting, so it will either go really well or really bad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I have a good feeling about it though, learned a lot since my first clamshell build.

did you already hook up the power and ground to the 3500? the holes with the wire coming out of your beauty panel look real close to the amp its gonna be a ***** to bend em in. it was a pain even with the shok wire for me today mine was setup like that too

I'm not too worried about it. I had less room between amps with the autotek 4000.1, and used the same wire.

UPDATE: The wind decided it was going to get CRAZY right now, started blowing my shit around/blew over my shop lights, so i called it quits.

2 more terminals to crimp, gotta throw the kinetik under the hood, then plug all the wiring into the amps. SO CLOSE
