~Project Avalanche~ Series 6th Order Bandpass Rebuild.

Forgot to be checking on this sucker. Looks great man.

Still sad you ditched the MM4000. But it was time to move on.

Truck looks great, as well as the build.

One question, what is with drilling those holes for the wire in the port??? Are you making a molding against the beauty panel to overlay on that area or what?

You will have to wait and see //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

There probably wont be any progress until this weekend. I got a final and two mid terms to still get out of the way (on thursday and friday).

However, after this week, i have 8 less hours of class every week, so progress will be MUCH faster starting sunday-ish.

i finally will have some time to finish this up. I took a few tests last week, as well as a final, and now i have 8 less hours of class per week //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

This SHOULD be done tomorrow //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

Progress not pictured yet. Beauty panel is cut out, and i started laying out the amp rack. My last sub should arrive tomorrow as well. Its just a matter of fabbin up the last panels, painting, and doing the wiring now.

ima take a break and go work out, so i'll post these up for now.

Heres how everything will lay out. Beauty panel fitted to the seal of the bed for the box, then the amp rack goes on the bottom of the front of the beauty panel. I did this so my back seats would fold all the way down, flat.

What isnt pictured is the beauty panel was cleaned up with a sander and a roundover bit.

Other then that, now its the waiting game with the paint.

As soon as the paint is gone, i'll mount in the sub, clean up the inside of the box as it is covered in sawdust, and start the wiring.

and GALAMONKEY, i know your gonna read this. Look at the first pic i posted, that will show you how i seal the cabin from the bed. If you cut a panel out to fit in the seal, and run a bead of caulking around the seal, it should keep everything dry. If you are still getting water in the cab, it is because of the seal behind the rear window.
