hey guys i encounterd a problem recently....i just put in my new hu (eclipse 7000) new 4 gauge wiring kit and just rewired my xxx to 1 ohm...for some reason i cant get any bass...it was working the day i rewired my sub but then the next day i cant get anything...any body no what i can do...i checked everything

check your grounds first, then check to see if you blew the fuse under the hood....where are you gains set on your amp, where is your subsonic filter set, and where is you highpass filter set, what are the settings on your HU and are you sure that the sub is wired correctly within the box and all connections are secure

make sure your amp is 1 ohm stable

does the amp even power up? if so check ground then all fuses (ie. all fuses on the amp, under the hood, and anywhere else you may have one located)

Reid, I know some headunits have the ability to turn off the rca's powering the bass, or turn the bass down to 0 or something. Look in the eclipse manual and see if it says anything.
