ok i have 2 10in se's and tested the today just free air and one of the makes a wierd pop noice instead of bass and will not lett me push down on the cone. what can i do???

if you cant push in on the cone, check the magnets to make sure they are all aligned. if it gets dropped in shipping, it can happen where one of them may shift a bit, pinching the coil, and holding it in place.

dont run any more power to it because it will not be aboe to cool, and it will burn up real fast, if ti hasnt already.

is the cone pushed all the way out? - it might have jumped the gap too.

I have the same exact problem with one of my 12" CVR's, it seems as if the cone is rubbing or sticking on something and i have to use force to push it in. What is the problem and what can we do?

It means the coil excurted beyond the gap and the VC former landed on the top plate/pole piece.

as stated many times already, you need a recone. both of you.

Just call RE and tell them your subwoofer needs to be reconed.

There is literally nothing you can do to fix it. It needs to be sent in to RE.

sounds like both of you have put too much power to the coil, and it expanded. now it has to be reconed.
